style men february 2012
last jan/feb i went to singapore for the laneway festival. it was AWESOME! dan saya mengambil kesempatan untuk singgah di 7eleven untuk membeli apa yang tiada di Malaysia seperti vitamin water dan magazine ini. without any doubt, this is the best men's magazine i've ever bought. cover black and white yang simple yet very sophisticated. mungkin suatu hari nanti style magazine malaysia (which is amazing) akan melahirkan style men malaysia sendiri. pasti menjadi hala tuju nan satu buat diri ini.

Tame Impala - Innerspeaker

With their pure ‘60s, psychedelic melodic rock music, you will be out of your mind to compare the sound of Tame Impala with a small band from the UK, The Beatles. From the first track you will notice that Kevin Parker’s ability to channel John Lennon’s legendary vocal style. Hail from Western Australia city of Perth, the band consists of Parker (lead vocal/guitar), Dominic Simper (bass) and Jay Watson (drums/backing vocals). After their critically-acclaimed EPs, they came out with their first debut album, Innerspeaker. Innerspeaker, a collaboration with Flaming Lips and Mercury Rev producer Dave Fridmann , it could easily make Tame Impala the next big thing from Down Under after The Vines and Wolfmother. According to Parker, Innerspeaker is not just the album title; it is a term to describe his feeling when he is at most inspired. Starts with beautifully catchiest guitar jangle opening track “It Is Not Meant to Be” to the summertime groove “Solitude Is Bliss” and bass and drums kaleidoscopic last track “I Don’t Really Mind”. Innerspeaker is not just an album, it is a modern-day psychedelic well-crafted experience. All in all, Tame Impala’s debut album is vintage yet refreshing, and all psych fans will simply appreciate the stoner vibes through their stereo.
